Dreams

Mrs. Ho, Dick, and Mr. Brofft were the only teachers @ White Oaks.  This was a charter school that I chose to go to for the completion of my high school years.  I was fortunate to enjoy classes which included Trigonometry, Tai Chi, Abnormal Psychology, Philosophy, Independent Studies, and lastly, my favorite class of all times; Dream Analysis.

Carl Jung, from listening to thousands and thousands of dreams, started to notice certain similarities and patterns that surpassed time and place.  He developed (or notarized) the method we now use to understand their meanings.  He taught this one guy, and THAT guy taught MY teacher who passed this precious legend on to me.

At first, I was a bit skeptical and wasn't sure how much of this I could buy into.  But one day, after telling my teacher the most recent "underwater dream" in a long sequence of underwater dreams, he simply responded, "So, are you pregnant?"

Turning purple, it was hard for me to deny this previously well-guarded fact.  I was about 5 months along, but still able to hide it from anyone but him.  Infuriated and intrigued, I asked him why he should think that.  He said most women, when they are "building a baby in a watery womb" will continually dream that they are underwater.

Needless to say, I became a believer.  I believe that dreams are like little built-in councilors that help us deal with the stuff that during the day we sweep under the rug. 

Since high school, I have recorded some of my dreams and written my own analyzations.  They might not make perfect sense to most people, but the more you hear, the more you'll understand, so if you're interested, stay tuned and please have patience...

I recorded these dreams for my own interest when they came and lots of times, while I was interpreting them, more and more details of the dreams surfaced.  So, it might not read like anything you've ever read before, but I thought it was such a fun topic that it just might not matter.

While I dig up some of these dreams to share, feel free to comment on the subject at hand, I'm interested to know if anyone else is interested!!
